Automation Products (AP) aspires to produce products that exceed our customer's specifications in every respect. We do this by operating in accordance with all company policies and procedures while at the same time striving to continually improve our processes.
Our quality assurance department is involved in every aspect of the machining process from incoming inspection of materials through the final inspection of finished parts. We certify the quality of our products so that our customers don't waste time inspecting parts.
Our quality checks start with a first piece inspection to ensure proper setup, then in-process inspection to verify process capability, and lastly; a final inspection. All of the above processes are properly documented. Products that are held in the inventory stocking program are checked periodically to guarantee integrity.
We incorporate several types of inspection equipment such as a Brown & Sharpe Gage 2000 coordinate measuring machine (CMM), Mitutoyo Real-Time statistical process control (SPC), and Gagepack 2000 calibration software. All inspection equipment is in a temperature and humidity controlled environment to assure precision and accuracy.
AP was awarded ISO 9001 certification in 2002 and continues to meet or exceed its customer's requirements. All quality standards are performed in compliance with customer requirements.
By using these procedures and inspection equipment AP machines parts to the highest possible quality meeting or exceeding customer specifications.
