Precision CNC Swiss machining services
Equipped with (2) eight axis CNC Swiss machining centers that also incorporate auto bar feeders, our state-of-the-art machinery can operate on a broad array of materials including ferrous and non-ferrous alloys, plastics, aluminum, and stainless steel, measuring from .188 up to 1.25 inches in diameter and from .188 up to 24 inches in length. Our machines can operate in both “chucker” and true Swiss machining modes. When the length to diameter ratio is less than 4:1 “Chucker” mode is used. This mode is where the whole length of the part is fed out before machining processes begin. This helps in more efficient set-up, machining, and processing of relatively shorter parts. Swiss mode is for ratios higher than 4:1 and allows holding a tight precision tolerance of (±/-) 0.0005 inches and finishes on longer parts. Both machines use oil coolant equipped with 1000 psi High Pressure pumps. Both machines sub-spindles can be modified to allow “long shafts” to be unloaded through back of the spindle onto a table for removal. What previously required multiple operations or even multiple machines is now done efficiently and accurately in one machine with automated quality you can count on.
